Kadu
Kadu is Kobana's AI agent that runs your organization's recurring tasks: settling received payments, reconciling statements, checking invoices, and opening pending items for whatever needs a person. Each task is a skill written in natural language and stored in a git repository owned by the organization. Kadu runs the skill, talks to the systems it asks for, and returns a report.
You follow everything in the Agent Console (app.kadu.ia.br): trigger a
task, watch the agent work in real time, resolve the pending items it left
behind, and check how much each execution cost.
What is in this documentation
| Section | For whom | What you will find |
|---|---|---|
| Documentation | people who use the Agent Console | the concepts (organization, workspace, task, execution), how to run and follow a task, and the organization settings |
| Kadu Playbook | people who write the tasks | how to set up the organization's Playbook, write a skill that becomes a task, test it locally and publish it |
| API | people who integrate another system with Kadu | the v1 API (authentication, scopes, conventions and the reference for each endpoint), the task run endpoint and webhooks |
| MCP | people who use Kadu from an AI client (Claude, ChatGPT…) | the remote MCP server: authentication, transport, compatible clients and the reference for each tool |
| CLI | people who operate Kadu from the terminal or a script | kobana, the command-line tool for every Kobana product: installation, authentication, usage and the commands for each resource |
How Kadu works
- The organization keeps its skills in a git repository. Each push to it updates the console's task catalog.
- A task is triggered from the console, by a schedule, through the API or by an HTTP call from another system (run endpoint).
- The execution runs the skill in an isolated environment, with only the secrets the task declares, and records every step in the console.
- At the end, the execution delivers a result in Markdown, the files it generated and the pending items left for a person.
